SETTING UP E-MAIL WITH OUTLOOK EXPRESS FOR
MACINTOSH
| STEP I: |

After opening Outlook Express, select "Accounts" from
the "Tools" menu. |

|

After selecting the "Mail" tab in the "Accounts" window,
click the "New" button. |
| STEP III: |
|

After opening the "Account Setup Assistant" window, type your
full name into the field provided to the right of "Display name".
When finished, click the right arrow button in the lower right section
of the window. |
| STEP IV: |
|

First, click the "I already have an e-mail address..." button,
then type your e-mail address into the provided field (ex:
johndoe@appscorp.net). When finished, click the right arrow button
in the lower right corner of the window. |
| STEP V: |

Select "POP" from the "My incoming mail server is..." list
(unless otherwise instructed), and type enter the following information:
Default Settings:

Incoming mail server (POP3):
mail.appsmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP):
Contact your Internet Service Provider
If Apps Communications is your ISP, use "mail.appsmail.com" as your SMTP Server

New Settings:
*ONLY use the below information if you know that you are using our new email server
|
Incoming mail server (POP3):
mail.appsmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP):
Contact your Internet Service Provider
If Apps Communications is your ISP, use "mail2.appsmail.com" as your SMTP Server

When you are done, click the right arrow button in the lower
right corner of the window. |

In this window, you'll first need to type your "Account ID".
Typically speaking, if your e-mail address is yourname@yourdomain.com,
then your "Account ID" will be "yourname". After entering your "Account
ID" enter the password you use to access your e-mail in the "Password"
field. When you are finished completing both fields, click the right
arrow button in the lower right corner of the screen. |

In the "Account Name" field, enter the name that you would like
Outlook to refer to the account by - it can be called anything as it is
for display purposes only. When you are done, click the "Finish"
button. |
